Jiu jitsu Melbourne

PH 9495 1929
Our Martial Arts schools have a long history stretching back to the days of the Samurai in ancient Japan. They all contain striking, locks, chokes, throws and pressure point based martial arts techniques as well as a wide range of Samurai weapons training.
  1. Kukishin Ryu - Happo Bikenjutsu
  2. Shinden Fudo Ryu - Daken Taijutsu
  3. Takagi Yoshin Ryu  - Ju Taijutsu

Unlike Karate or Taekwondo and most other martial arts styles our training is practiced exclusively in pairs, Jiu jitsu trains that way because it's a lot closer to reality.

If ever you need to use it for self defence then you need to have practiced basics, drills, pressure testing and sparring on different body types and personalities.
Knife defence is also considered a very important area of training at our Dojo with several months spent each year training against knife attacks.

Great Training Facilities

Our full time martial arts school have over 450 safety training mats . If you turn up early to class there is also free tea and coffee, change rooms, martial arts books and magazines in our library and free wifi.  We can even lend you training weapons until you get your own and we have four suites or Japanese Armour that we often lend students when studying those techniques.
