Jiu Jitsu near Heidelberg Heights

Jiu jitsu classes aren't far from Heidelberg Heights. We teach Japanese and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for kids from 4½, teens and adults at our friendly dojo at 272 Dundas St, Thornbury, and complete beginners are always welcome. Bell St does most of the work from Heidelberg Heights. Stay on it, cross Darebin Creek, and turn left at Chifley Drive.

Which class suits you?

• Japanese Jiu Jitsu (16+): striking, throws, locks, ground fighting, weapons and knife defence, with 7 classes a week.
• Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (16+): beginner-friendly Gi and No-Gi, with 3 classes a week.
• Young Adults (16 to 17): the full adult syllabus in our adult classes, usually partnered with other teens.
• Junior Adults (11 to 15): age-appropriate self defence and weapons.
• Samurai Warriors and Ninja Stars (4½ to 10): confidence, discipline and life skills, after school and on Saturdays.

You're welcome to train in one programme or in both Japanese and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, as multiple memberships are available. See the full timetable.

Great system, experienced friendly staff. The dojo is well set up and accommodates various training options. My son also trains in the Junior Adults class and loves it.

4 free classes plus a free uniform for Japanese Jiu Jitsu, kids and teens. $99 for up to 12 classes over 4 weeks plus a new BJJ uniform for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
