Stand Up Training - Many practical self defence based techniques that use Striking, Chokes, Locking, Throwing, Pressure Points, Nerve Manipulations and Evasive footwork making it much more difficult for your opponent to strike or counter your technique.
Ground Fighting - Nearly everything you learn in your stand up training can be used on the ground. We also train for ground defence against single and multiple attackers taking our training way past normal sport based ground fighting and refocusing on what will work for you in real life against real attackers not just in a tournament.
Weapons Training - You will quickly become proficient in a wide range of weapons such as sword, 3 types of staff and other traditional weapons. Knife Defence is also an important part of this training.
A Normal Class - Will involve rolling and breakfalls, various drills where you will be working with a partner while practicing a self defence techniques against a nominated attack. For example the instructor might show a defence against a round house kick or a grab and punch situation and then you practice that technique until you understand how to apply it.
